Ok, here the part where I tell a little
about my 1967 Impala "Ohio Gold". The paint is House
of Kolors Pegan Gold shot over a silver metal flake base. The
roof design is my own. The person responsible for the flawless
bodywork is my brother Matt. He shaved the door handles and frenched
the antennas. He is also the one who found the car for me for
500 dollars. The painter is Bill Maus. The paint on the roof took
over 10 days to do.
The 67 was suspose to be a dancer!
But when the paint booth doors opened that all changed! The frame
had been wrapped and a 4 pump Reds hydraulic system had been installed
by me. It has 16 switches and 8 batteries. The engine was rebuilt
by Cliff Hooker and myself. Its a 73 chevy 350 with a polished
aluminum intake topped off with a 600 cfm holly carb. The original
300 horse factory valve covers have been chromed as well as just
about anything I could remove from under the hood. .
